![]() ![]() A W5700 gets 258MB prefetchable from the downstream port of the Mac mini's Thunderbolt controller because the eGPU and its children (the W5700, the W5700 USB controller, W5700 audio) don't use any more prefetchable than that. Since the GPU is connected via Thunderbolt, the BARs must fall into a range that is reserved for the Thunderbolt bridge. My Mac mini 2018 reserves about 128GB (prefetchable) for each Thunderbolt controller (as seen by lspci in macOS). Since the GPU is connected via Thunderbolt, it is hot swappable so disconnecting and reconnecting the GPU will probably reset the resizable BAR value? Step 4: If you have the Windows 11 ISO, select it. Step 3: Run the Windows11Upgrade.exe file. Step 2: Extract the Windows 11 Upgrade zip and enter the folder. ![]() If OpenCore changes the Resizable BAR setting of a GPU, is there a way to make UEFI re-enumerate the PCI devices? Would it need to switch from DXE to PEI? Is it possible to force a hot plug event on the eGPU in UEFI to force it to re-enumerate the PCI devices of the Thunderbolt controller? Step 1: Download the Windows11UpgradeEN.zip or from the source Windows11Upgrade. Windows would need to re-enumerate the PCI devices and reallocate the assigned addresses. Contributions to improve this feature are welcome.
